Am asteptat cu nerabdare (mare) show-ul lui Robin Williams de anul acesta, desi nu stiam cand si daca chiar o sa il mai faca, dupa ce a trecut printr-o operatie pe cord si un divort. Iata insa ca asteptarea a luat sfarsit . Dupa “Live at the Met” din 1986 si “Live on Broadway” din 2002, un asemenea show nu trebuia(e) ratat, mai ales ca e vorba de unul dintre cei mai tari (dupa parerea mea) stand-up comedians si, de asemenea, pentru ca face astfel de spectacole foaaarte rar (dupa cum se vede). Asadar, “In this comedy special taped at DAR Constitution Hall, his first solo special on the network in seven years, Williams covers such topics global warming, sex and politics, the state of health care in the country (suggesting a cash for clunkers program for elderly relatives, among other things), drugs – recreational and otherwise – and more personal topics, including his recent heart surgery.”. Trebuie sa recunosc ca show-ul e belea, in stilu-i caracteristic, desi vreo 2-3 faze se cam repeta (sort of) din “Live on Broadway”, iar show-ul din 2002 mi se pare un pic mai bun, insa e poate doar o impresie lasata de faptul ca pe acesta nou nu l-am vazut decat de (aproape) 2 ori . Anyway, enough words on it, go ahead and enjoy the show.
